Das macht vor allem die Mischung der Songauswahl – die enthaltenen Live-Tracks von James McMurtry oder Rich Hopkins & The Luminarios etwa sind beide jenseits der 8 Minuten angesiedelt. Einen weiteren grandiosen Live-Titel steuert unser Label-Neuzugang Israel Nash Gripka bei und da dieser Künstler parallel gleich mit zwei Neuerscheinungen bei uns vertreten ist, beendet er diese „Nuggets“-Ausgabe nicht nur, sondern er eröffnet sie auch mit einem Song aus seinem jüngsten Studioalbum „Barn Doors And Concrete Floors“. Weitere Neuheiten gibt es von Deadman und Carolyn Wonderland, mit der wir die Frauenquote auf Blue Rose weiter erhöhen.  | "Only" 14 songs to appear on the 52nd issue of the Blue Rose exclusive mailorder only-CD series "Blue Rose Nuggets" but the running time is over 70 minutes anyway! It's because of its song selection - the featured live tracks by James McMurtry or Rich Hopkins & Luminarios for example are both beyond the 8 minutes playing time. Another great live song contributes our new "family member" Israel Nash Gripka, and since he is on the record with two new releases he opens and closes this Nuggets issue. More new releases are from Deadman and Carolyn Wonderland. From the vaults of an early and deleted Blue Rose compilation are rare tracky by the Shakin' Apostles and Elliott Murphy. |
