 | Allen VINYL-Freunden können wir ab sofort einen ganz großartigen Service anbieten: Aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen macht es oft keinen Sinn, LPs eines Albums zu pressen, und so haben wir nun die Möglichkeit gerschaffen, Einzelfertigungen anzubieten, und zwar nicht nur von allen Neuheiten im Blue Rose-Katalog, sondern auch von vielen bisher erschienenen CDs bieten wir Vinyl-LP-Ausgaben an! Dabei handelt es sich um keine Produktionen "von der Stange", sondern jede LP wird speziell für den jeweiligen Kunden einzeln gefertigt, auf dem LP-Etikett wird der Name des Bestellers aufgedruckt sein. Schweres 180g-Vinyl findet Verwendung, und bei den heutigen Laufzeiten einer CD wird es sich dabei überwiegend um 2-LP-Sets handeln. Nicht mehr auf CD erhältliche Blue Rose-Alben werden extra für die Your Personal Vinyl Edition-Serie wieder aus den Archiven geholt.

Für seine 11 neuen Songs fand er große Unterstützung von Bruce Springsteen, mit dem er im Duett "Everything I Do (Leads Me Back To You)" singt, oder durch seine Freunde von The Violent Femmes und Gitarrenvirtuose Sonny Landreth. Aber auch seine Musiker haben eine Vergangenheit: Andy Newmark (Roxy Music, Eric Clapton), Cho Cho Merchan (Eurythmics) und Luis Jardim (Rolling Stones) verhelfen Murphy zu einem weiteren erstklassigen Singer/ Song-writer-typischen Rockalbum mit schnellen Up-tempo-Stücken, umgeben von klassischen Balladen. |
 | As probably the first record label in Germany, maybe even in the world, we give our customers the opportunity to order custom made 7" singles and complete albums. Not only new Blue Rose releases will be covered but also previously released CDs will be available on vinyl. Each item of these custom LPs is a unique copy, done by request only and the name of the customer will appear on the LP label. Heavy 180g vinyl will be used, since the running times are between 50 and 60 minutes these days most of the available vinyl editions will be 2-LP sets.

Thirteenth studio album of Elliott Murphy. Originally from Garden City, Long Island, USA, he now resides in Paris together with his wife Francoise and his son Gaspard. For the recording of the 11 new songs he was backed by a new band: Andy Newmark (Roxy Music, Eric Clapton) on drums, Cho Cho Merchan (Eurythmics) on acoustic and electric bass, Luis Jardim (Rolling Stones) on percussion. Special guests include BJ Scott, The Violent Femmes, slide guitar virtuoso Sonny Landreth and even Bruce Springsteen, who sings "Everything I Do". The result is a classic singer/songwriter album, which features both rocking uptempo tracks as well as marvellous ballads. |
