 | Eine neue “Nuggets”- CD liegt vor, wie üblich bestückt mit neuen und älteren
Songs aus unserem umfangreichen Katalog. Waren bisher die unveröffentlichten
Songs über die CD verteilt, so befinden sich bei dieser Ausgabe 3 Live-Stücke
hintereinander am Ende der CD. Das liegt daran, da alle drei Songs bei der
gleichen Veranstaltung mitgeschnitten wurden, nämlich bei der Geburtstagsparty
unseres Label-Machers Edgar Heckmann. Elliott Murphy und Olivier Durand,
Joseph Parsons, Markus Rill, Todd Thibaud mit seiner ganzen Band - alle waren
sie da, um dem Geburtstagskind und seinen Gästen nicht nur einige Ständchen
zu bringen, sondern den ganzen Abend und die halbe Nacht das begeisterte
Publikum zu unterhalten. Da wurde kaum ein Klassiker ausgelassen - drei davon
sind auf der vorliegenden “Nuggets”-CD zu hören: “Dead Flowers” von den Stones, Neil Youngs unverwüstliches “Powderfinger” sowie Van Morrisons “Tupelo Honey”, gesungen von “Gaststar” Ben Arnold. Auf unserer Website
gibt es als besonderes Bonbon auch ein Video zu “Dead Flowers”! |
 | "Nuggets Vol. 16" again contains new and older songs from the big Blue Rose catalog. In all the previous Nuggets issues the live tracks can be found between the regular studio songs. This one is different - all the three live recordings are placed at the end of the disc due vto the fact that all the three songs have been recorded at the same concert. It wasn't a concert really - it was at the birthday party of Blue Rose label manager, Edgar Heckmann, in June 2005. Elliott Murphy, Olivier Durand, Joseph Parsons, Markus Rill, Todd Thibaud with his band - all of them was there and played their own songs as well as many rock classics. Three of them you find on this Nuggets issue: "Dead Flowers", "Powderfinger" and "Tupelo Honey" with "guest musician" Ben Arnold on lead vocals.
