Ein denkwürdiges Konzert gab Joseph Parsons im Stuttgarter „Laboratorium“ am 5. Mai dieses Jahres. Nach vielen Jahren erstmals wieder mit Band in Deutschland auf Tour, verzauberte er 2 Stunden lang den gut gefüllten Club mit vielen Songs aus seinem neuen Album „The Vagabond Tales“ sowie weiteren Stücken aus seinen früheren Alben. 22 Songs enthält dieser Live-Mitschnitt, der soundmäßig zum Besten gehört, was wir jemals im Rahmen der „Official Bootleg Serie“ veröffentlicht haben. Sowohl die solo als auch mit der Band (Kevin Hanson – Gitarre/Gesang, Jim Miades – Bass/Gesang, Matt Muir – Schlagzeug/Gesang) dargebotenen Songs – bis auf den CCR-Klassiker „Who’ll Stop The Rain“ ausschließlich Eigenkomposiitionen) wurden perfekt eingefangen und können sich mit mancher 50.000 Euro-Produktion messen lassen.
This Official Blue Rose Bootleg album was recorded during JOSEPH PARSONS' most recent German tour with the Joseph Parsons Squad Kevin Hanson – guitar/vocals, Jim Miades – bass/vocals, Matt Muir – drums/vocals). The tapes were rolling at the "Laboratorium" in Stuttgart on May 5th. Joseph played many songs from his latest album The Vagabond Tales plus songs from his previous albums including tunes from his side projects Hardpan and 4 Way Street.
